Kim is a queer filmmaker with a passion for finding universal stories in unexpected places.

 

She was introduced to the film industry through VFX and camera departments, most notably on Disney's JUNGLE CRUISE and Greta Gerwig's LITTLE WOMEN. She co-produced the independent docuseries, EMPOWERED.

 

Her award-winning short IL PEZZO, a bilingual short film set in Southern Italy, premiered at Raindance Film Festival in 2025.

Her upcoming project, LOOK AT RUBY, is a queer coming-of-age film currently in consideration for 2026 festivals.

​

In her free time she is a cyclist, a French and Italian speaker, a guitar player, and a scuba diver.
